Welcome to Bloody Pages Publishing Slaughter House.

I would like to start my own publishing company one day, becasue I hate the way companies now do it. They take away all creativity from the author. Did you know as soon as they want your story you have virutally no creative output? You do not get to chose the cover art, or even the title for that fact. That is fucking ridiculous in my mind. So, I am starting my dream here.

For now, this is just a place where I will host my zine, entitled Fireflies. I am going to make this zine no matter what, but I would like to have other people submit work. I really really would.

Accepting

I do not believe in censorship. If you have something that has swearing, violence, sexual subject matter, disturbing subject matter or is completely 360 from everything else out there, I will not censor your voice. As long as your work is well written, and it speaks to me, I will probably accept it.

What do you want from me?!

I honestly will take anything. Poems, stories, fiction, essays, photos, art, rants, raves, reviews, comics. Anything. Just send it, and make sure it is your own work.

Send 'em here: bloodyxpages@hotmail.com. But please put a subject heading - like your name and what you are sending. Just so I dont delete it. =)


Distribution

For the most part, this will be an online zine. However, for the first issue at least (pending release date in Autumn) there will be a paper copy. The online zine will be free, but to friends only members. The paper copy however, will be for a price, only so I don't go in debt from materials and postage. I am thinking two dollars an issue, but again, pending to change. If there ends up being monthly releases and/or a lot of people want a paper copy, then I'll take subscriptions. Again, I have a feeling I'm dreaming ...

ME! I am very important. My name is Emily and my person journal is xunderzenithx. I am the one who started all of this and all of these ideas based around the zine and publishing company are mine.

Right now, I am the everything of this operation. I am trying to rope a few other people into helping me, but for now, you gotta deal with only me.
